Where Every Child Is Celebrated

The Sensory Village Foundation exists to ensure that every child and family has access to the resources, support, and experiences they need to thrive. We are committed to reducing financial barriers and building an inclusive community where neurodivergent and neurotypical children can benefit from sensory play, developmental services, educational opportunities, and meaningful connections. By partnering with families, schools, therapists, and community organizations, we strive to create welcoming spaces where every child is celebrated, every family feels supported, and no one has to navigate their journey alone.

Why It Matters

When a child is neurodivergent, everything ripples outward. Parents navigate waitlists, paperwork, and exhaustion. Siblings quietly learn to wait their turn. Friendships and social connections can become harder to maintain, and grandparents, relatives, and friends often want to help but don't always know how.

The Sensory Village Foundation was built for all of them. Our sensory-friendly experiences give children a place where the world finally fits, while our support groups and community partnerships give the adults who love them a place to breathe, connect, share, and be understood.

Every dollar you give goes directly into that work. No overhead spirals. No platform fees. Just children playing, families connecting, and lives being changed.

"The Sensory Village bridges the gap between therapy and everyday life by providing a space where developmental goals become meaningful and joyful experiences." — Nicole O., Early Intervention Special Instructor Children playing together at The Sensory Village

Who We Serve

Children with Sensory and Developmental Needs

We serve children with a wide range of sensory, developmental, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional differences. Our programs are designed to provide opportunity for safe exploration, regulation, play, social connection, and confidence-building in an environment that is welcoming and judgment-free.

Caregivers and Parents

We recognize that caregivers are often navigating significant emotional, physical, and financial stress while advocating for their children and coordinating services, therapies, school supports, and daily routines. We aim to provide caregivers with opportunities for connection, support, respite, and community while their children engage in meaningful play and activities.

Siblings

Siblings of neurodivergent children are also deeply impacted and are often unintentionally overlooked in traditional support models. We intentionally create experiences where siblings can participate fully, build positive family memories, and enjoy inclusive play environments together.

Extended Family Members

Grandparents, relatives, and extended family members may experience isolation when traditional community spaces or family events are inaccessible or overwhelming for their loved ones. Our goal is to help families reconnect through shared experiences where everyone feels welcomed and included.

The Broader Community

In addition to directly serving families, we aim to strengthen community understanding, inclusion, and accessibility by partnering with local organizations, schools, businesses, and community leaders to promote sensory-friendly practices and neurodiversity acceptance throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

Families Facing Financial Barriers

We understand that therapies, specialized services, adaptive equipment, and caregiving demands can place significant financial strain on families. The Foundation seeks to reduce barriers to participation by developing scholarship opportunities, community partnerships, and accessible programming that allows more families to benefit from sensory-friendly experiences regardless of income level.
